Coldstream Laboratories

David A. Gelber has been appointed vice president of operations at Coldstream Laboratories, Inc. Mr. Gelber will be responsible for the company’s manufacturing operations in Lexington, KY and will serve as a key advisor to Coldstream’s chief executive officer Larry Kranking.

“Mr. Gelber’s depth of expertise in aseptic manufacturing will be an invaluable addition to the Coldstream team as we enter the company’s next stage of growth,” said Mr. Kranking. “Coldstream continues to grow and to expand the breadth of product types it manufactures. David brings to us a great deal of experience that will be invaluable in our efforts to continuously improve our performance. We are thrilled to have attracted such an experienced industry veteran to the Coldstream team.”

Mr. Gelber has more than 25 years of experience in aseptic manufacturing, operations, and management, including nine years at Abbott and several other businesses in injectable fill/finish manufacturing. He joins the company from Avrio Biopharmaceuticals, where he led manufacturing start-up activities for a new sterile contract manufacturing facility.
